Tell her to lower her tone.

Can't better Mrs N's answer.

But, I heard yesterday Claire Foy who plays our Queen Elizabeth II in the very good drama "The Crown" (can you get it over the pond?), was asked how she got on with covering her rather plum voice (well, she is the Queen, after all). She admitted that the younger Elizabeth had a very squeaky voice and the director moved to lower the pitch down an octave or two, so the viewing audience didn't reach for the off-switch. Dramatic licence, eh?

Indeed, dramatic license. "The Crown" is not available on Amazon Prime as yet, nor is it on our basic cable, but we will see it eventually, I am sure.

Worth looking out for, if you're into that sort of stuff :)
