Truth? Justice? What does the abused survivor really hold out for above everything else...

People who are abused react as differently as their own unique psyches allow. There are some who are unable to rise above the abuse, and mimic it. That is true. However, there are some who eventually think their way out....and when blessed freedom befalls them, they value peace above all else.

Many say that an abused person is more likely to commit abuse themselves. I do not accept this, but that is a personal view - I have no real evidence other than it is supported by other survivors I have come to know. I would like to think having witnessed first hand how traumatic it can be, they determine to be a firewall themselves.

Well it was a worry of mine. But i broke trend.

I would imagine that they hold our for some kind of understanding how it could've happened. Answers perhaps and yet they know they know these will never come.

I was thinking particularly of the many abused / sexually assaulted or harassed women who have suffered at the hands of film directors...
