Do you think saving money is out of fashion?

No I don't believe it is but for many it is almost impossible to do so what with the cost of housing - in my city it's all but impossible to find a 2 bed roomed house at less than £250,000 , repaying student loans and the basics of life like heating etc etc

Not for me it isn't.....although personal savings seems way down the list of priorities for most young people these days.

Yes,may be because they have little left to save.

More like a forgotten talent. (At the current gold exchange rate, a talent (33 kg) would be worth about $1.25 million.)

For the young it often seems so. Immediately saddled with £60k+ student debts, they are constantly paying back loans. At least over here they are.

It can be difficult for some to save money as the cost of living is so high.
