Did you ever get accused of doing something that you hadn't done? What was it and how did you feel at the time?

asked by PENNYNOODLES on December 06, 2017

Provide your Answer

Look, it wasn't me, Ok? I didn't touch it - it was on the top shelf, alright? I only looked at it, it wobbled and fell off, crash. I know I shouldn't have taken that bull in with me. Cuh.

Ever had a deja-vu feeling?

Ok, a blast into the past.

When Miss V and I were young and 'just practising' (ooo, those were the days), her parents had a lovely flat in Salcombe (the building was actually used in one of the Poirot episodes once). We were both invited to stay there, and Miss V's father had his yacht there. Now me, I was brung up on a council estate (ruff), but still 'hable' to watch my 'haitches', let halone my Ps and Qs. But, after a day or so, her father asked Miss V to ask me if I wouldn't mind clearing the soap in the shower of the black, they presumed 'nether-region', hairs. Now, this is too much detail possibly, but I am (or was)(like on my profile photo) very much blond. Or is it blonde with an E? Help me, Mrs N? And of course, there isn't - wasn't - never will be, a black hair on my body. But, Miss V was black-black-black. Even on her chest. Dilemma time, do I dob Miss V in, or just take one on the chin for the Master & Miss V team? I did one better. I pleaded insanity. I have done ever since.

Her parents are both now sadly departed this life. But I hope Peter up there is whispering in their ears and putting them straight. But, I hope Peter isn't also sharing what we did in the farmer's field. Perhaps I'd best settle for the black hairs on the soap... ;)

Ha ha ha ha. A true gentleman would've taken one for the team. Mr N once did that for a fart of mine.... :O) (laughing out loud now)

Yes,I was accused of being too controlling by my husband's sister but I am not like that at all.I think she knows that by now.

No, Mrs W - you are anything but controlling.

(That's what you told me to say, isn't it?)

People sometimes see 'organised' as controlling.

I was driving in South Boston, stopped on a side street, waiting for the lead car to pull out into traffic. The fellow in the car behind me became impatient and began honking his horn. The nut in the lead car lost it completely, got out of his car, and came back to MY car and began yelling at me and pounding on my window. I tried to tell him that it was the fellow in the car behind me who had honked, but he didn't believe me.

Aww, Rolle - let me at 'em...

A lot of very stupid descendants of Irish immigrants, and a lot of criminal types live in South Boston. Don't ever visit there,

I was number three, too. I know the feeling.

I'm the eldest. Unfortunately, the opposite can be true - you are expected always to be right and have an answer for everything. Hey ho.
